2013 CHUNSTERS READING CHALLENGE

From my TBRR Pile, there is a huge ‘sexy-books-collections’ – that’s how we called books with more than 500 pages. And Dessy give us an opportunity to (finally) read several of those pile, by this Chunsters Reading Challenge. Combine with event on Read-A-Long event with fellow books blogger, I manage to read a significant title, from Dickens to Rowling, Dumas to Defoe, even Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown, Mary Balogh and Cecelia Ahern. Who said a Chunsters RC is scary ? Well, if you reading by your-self, probabling it’s gonna takes forever, but reading with others, is so much fun and it will surprise on how quick you will get until the last page (^0^) ... I really like this challenge, adn (still) hoping that Dessy will do it again in 2014. Anyway, thanks again to Dessy for hosting this event in 2013.

Here is another RC I’m joining at 2013 (yeahhh... I’m addictic to RC), and this event first host by Melisa in 2012 but unfortunately I never knew, so when Peni take-over in 2013, it’s a perfect-time for me to start reading in English and learn to tackle my fear (my English’s knowledge just very average, if you sees any grammartical error, well my mistake, and forgive me for still learning and practicing). The main-ideas of this challenge is to read at least 12 books within a year, and thank’s God, I’m actually manage to do that ... \(^0^)/

It’s another RC host by Ren, which is I really love because gave me an opportunity to explore several authors I’ve never knew or even read their works. Some of them quite dissappointes, but I’m also finding a really good writer with exceptional story too. Again, thanks  to Ren to created this event, and my list finally completed, even though still several books unfortunately cannot be review in time.

At the end of 2013, it’s time to do a Wrap-Up Post on each RC I’ve been joining for the whole year. This RC first introducing by Fanda, then Ren take-over for the roles in 2013. So much fun happen in this year, and I manage to conquer some of my TBR Pile List  ... Yeayyy !!! Even though by October my schedule becoming so hectic, puts several ‘read-books’ in my ‘unreview-yet’, I’m still really glad for the result.

I must say, even though this year I finally read several Indonesian’s Literature, it doesn’t satisfied me, personally. Because the main-goal of this tasks are to explore ‘good’ and ‘great’ literature, which is I found-out so far beyond those criteria. That’s why I decide ‘not-to’ reading again (or even try) several populer genre that failed me from the very start-middle-ending. But I still wanna say thanks to our host for this event, Made Melani, who inspire me to even ‘try’ another selected reading that I never choose before. By this day, I can say that I already ‘taste’ several different genre on this literature. And next year, i still want to read another Indonesian’s Literature, but this time, I will carefully selected my choices of reading (^_^)
